We started our 2009 project on 15 October and we're off to a good start with 89 drop-off boxes throughout West Texas and Eastern New Mexico. Our goal for this year is 1500 boxes for OUR Troops! We have no doubt will make it with lot's of good volunteers already at work.....and help from our friends at CBS7, above, filming a story and video for a public service announcement.
CFOT volunteers are the best! This year's stars included the Midland High School Cheerleaders and members of the Midland High Football Boosters Club!! And, of course, Santa Claus himself!!
Donations arrive from a great effort in New Mexico. Items are sorted and transported to the First Presbyterian Church, ready to be put into individual boxes for OUR Troops.
